Job Summary

Machinists work under the direction of Chris Klink (Plant Manager) and Lance Thompson

(Assistant Plant Manager). Machinists produce or repair parts per customer specification;

apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout and machining

procedures; have an eye for detail; maintain quality and safety standards; maintain

appropriate daily records.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Fabricate or repair parts per customer specifications with attention to detail.

Possess proficient math and analytical abilities.

Solve problems; analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution.

Have proficient mechanical and technical skills.

Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Basic understanding of lathes, mills, grinders and CNC operation.

Basic understanding of metal characteristics and grades.

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements.

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Ability to work individually, maintaining efficiency and effectiveness in a fast-paced and

time-sensitive environment, where flexibility is essential.

Minimum Qualifications

Machine shop experience with manual and/or CNC machines.

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or apprenticeship

will be an asset.

Valid driver's license.

Pay Range

Based on experience.
