Hafemeister Machine Corporation - About Us

Hafemeister Machine was started in 1937 in Menasha, Wisconsin by the father and son team of Louis H. and Robert W. Hafemeister. They accepted an offer by the Menasha Woodenware Company, where both were then employed, to purchase its machine shop assets and lease shop space.

Although Louis remained an active employee until the late 1960's, Robert assumed management of the company in 1952. Like his father, Robert remained an active employee until the late 1980's after his son, Louis E. Hafemeister took over management in 1974. Louie continues to oversee operations as we move into the fourth generation of family management.

The company remained in Menasha and grew slowly until relocating to our present location in 1951. We continue to update our facilities, machinery and technology to meet the demands of modern industry. Our 25 employees have an average industry experience of 25 years and their average length of service is 15 years.

After more than 80 years, we continue to provide quality, service and value to our customers.
